About Tagger Products
Taggers are a common type of PSP user. They
use PSP, images known as tubes and scrap items to create forum
signatures, email signatures and stationary, as well as items
for myspace etc.
Tagger products are created smaller for
use in these items. Since taggers work on a scale much smaller
than digital scrapbooks items for taggers are smaller, making it
easier to use than full sized kits as no resizing is required,
which is a bonus since papers tend to lose much of their
textures and such once resized from a full 12X12 size to a
2.6X2.6 size.
Elements respectively are created smaller
for taggers as well, a frame at 6X6 inches is entirely too large
for a signature tag, most taggers create tags somewhere around
350 to 500 pixels, and often tag tutorials ask for sizes to
start somewhere around 700X700 pixels. For this reason papers
are 800X800 Pixels and the elements are in corresponding sizes.
Pixels are used in explaining size because pixels is what
taggers work with in size measurements.
Most items can be in either .png or jpg
format. Jpgs on papers only, .png on elements. Most taggers use
psp but since different versions will not open versions for
others it is more acceptable to create scraps in png format.
On average my elements are around 350X350
pixels in size, so that they can be used to start with on a
larger scale then the finished product can be resize.
This is not to say that the products are a
lower PPI, most tagger kit creators make their items still at
the 300ppi for resizing purposes. There are some out there who
create them at 72 ppi which is ok but not the high quality that
taggers deserve as much as scrapbookers.
Besides scraps for taggers I also make
images for use in creating tags, also known as tubes. I have
included tags, signature tags, made using both kits as well as
images created by me.
