But here is the deal: K&Company products are hot hot hot, and they only make a certain amount of them per line. They may re-stock a product line a few times but not all product lines. So you never know. So there’s an elephant in the room and it needs to be talked about. The Maltese Cross on the K&Company Firefighter Albums and some specialty items such as frames and gifts is currently at a wopping 4″ x 4″ size on all these items. However in case you have not noticed, you CANNOT find these beautiful little crosses all by themselves in that size. At least not in the same size and like of the K&Company firefighter albums.

Here is the question you all have been waiting for: Why is not sold separately? Well we asked…

Here was the response: K&Company purchases all the firefighter items and gifts directly from the manufaturer, and items come already boxed/packaged with UPC’s on them. So eventhough on some items, K&Company does have to attach that beautiful Maltese Cross to the gifts and specialty items, the Maltese Crosses come in boxes & bags from that manufacturer without UPC and unpackaged so that there is no mistake made and to ensure that they do NOT get sold to retailers under no circustamces (separately that is).

So, my dear customer: stop looking for them, at least the K&Company ones! there is only one product that you CAN get from K&Company that is indeed the Maltese Cross, but is nowhere near the wonderful size of above. You can find the Firefighter Medallion Charm by K&Company which is 1¼”x1¼” with a tag at the bottom.

Here is my humble opinion on all of this: It is not K&Company holding these Maltese Crosses from the retailers or the public, it’s the actual manufaturer! K&Company happens to be the middle man. An I think the larger size is being held from being sold to retailers the public to keep the market steady for them on all their items. What do you think?

Finding a good scrapbooking deal is a treasure in itself. So many stores to sort through, so many items to rumage through, and so little time. How do we find time with our busy lives and the hussle and fuss of going to work and coming home to our daily chores, dirty dishes, piling dust bunnies and growing piles of dirty laundry?

With our nasty gas prices sky rocketing and going out of control, the last thing we want to do is get in our car and drive to our local craft store in hopes to find that perfect collection of scrapbooking items to fulfill our ever so growing need to feed that monster inside of us- the scrap craze monster. Just can’t put it away or give it up! Have got to make time for it, because our children deserve it, and our family deserves it, and dag gone it, we deserve it!

Preserving our most cherished moments for generations to come, and for our children to remember and cherish for the rest of their lives is a gift of time and talent.

So with that said, what is the best deal out there? There are so many stores with like items, and so many items to choose from? Some stores offer free shipping if you spend a wopping $200! Quite a chunk of change there. Others, you have to make 3 to 4 purchases during a calendar year with a minimum amount requirement before you can qualify for free shipping. Others range their free shipping from $65 to $100 of minimum orders to qualify for free shipping (deals are getting better). In the meantime, you’ve already spent quite a bit of time on the internet searching and searching and searching for the best store deals out there. Am I getting close ladies? You then find a fantastic deal, too good to be true, but the site looks awfully suspiscious, and you’re afraid of getting stiffed for your money, what to do?
