Yes indeed, in case you are still looking for the old item numbers K12DPAGE “Designer Refills” for the 12×12 scrapbook refills or the K88PAGE for the 8.5×8.5 scrapbook refills by K&Company and so forth with the 6×6 refills, they are no longer called by that name, or have that same SKU # on the package, or the same packaging for that matter.
K&Company changed everything about the refills and made no annoucement whatsoever! The K&Company albums continue to advertise refills for their albums requiring a certain code, but the refills being shipped to the stores have a different code on the packaging!
Yes! We contacted K&Company in this regard, and they were quite apologetic about it this month of June 2008. They have now changed some of the photos on their website refills to say that the refills were formerly called K12DPAGE etc and that they now have a new code. They have also updated the some of the photos, but not all of them as of today.
According to their marketing department, they will also make the change on all of their albums from this point forward to print the new refill code required for the albums. In the meantime, buyer beware of this packaging change and don’t worry about looking for the old refill codes. The new packages, and new codes are exactly the same refills, just a NEW LOOK and feel.
We continue to work with them to change their entire line of refills on their website to match all of their codes and photos to the new packaging. As a customer though, if you order a refill with the old code from a store, just keep in mind that you might get one or the other depending on what the store has in stock!!! If the store still has the old packages in stock, then you will get the old packages still, but if the store has the new packages in stock, then you will get the new “light green” packages with the new codes on them. SAME refills, though, that fit all your albums!!!!
